The wheel industry can be a fickle thing. Similar to the fashion industry, what’s hot right now might be ice cold in six months, which is why only the fittest survive to see another fiscal year. Diablo Wheels is one these top dogs, as they continuously reinvent themselves with each new wheel concept. Born from the ambition and dream of president and founder Gary Jerjerian in 2000, Diablo Wheels has become a fierce competitor and a household name in the automotive game.
Rick Klotz and Freshjive are offering some nice pieces for the summer. Entitled "Fairfax", for the area of Los Angeles in which streetwear is king. Fairfax Ave. is also where you can find Reserve, Freshjive's flagship store. Still going strong since 1989, the elements of the brand range from hip-hop to punk, skate, surf and art. Available now.
Known for a distinctive, dusty sound, DJ Muggs built his reputation making beats and producing for his groups Cypress Hill and House of Pain. He is also the founder of Soul Assassins, a loose collective of L.A.-based musicians and graphic artists.
