It's a new year and with it comes another highly anticipated DUB Show Tour! Wasting no time, we started the tour on January 16 - 17 in Detroit. Notably for the first time, we partnered up with the most prestigious auto show in the world, The North American International Auto Show, to host the kick off DUB Show in the Cobo Arena during the opening weekend of the Auto Show. Over 58,000 auto show goers rushed through the doors of the arena to check out all of the amazing custom rides and displays that make up every DUB event.

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Famous Stars and Straps and Snoop Dogg’s 10th studio album release, all of L.A. joined Travis and Snoop at their party at the Vanguard in Hollywood. The event featured a live performance by Snoop and Travis, who were joined by Pharrell, Warren G, DJ Quik, Kurupt, Game and Nipsey Hussle.

Come check out DUB Live! at the 2009 L.A. Auto Show. The show runs from 12/4 to 12/13. In addition to all the great debuts and concepts at the show, be sure to make your way down to Kentia Hall to get up close and personal with a huge array of custom cars...definitely a show within a show!

The inaugural Tony Hawk: RIDE Presents Stand Up For Skateparks benefit at the Wynn Las Vegas benefited Skaters in east Las Vegas, as the benefit raised more than 630,000 to help the Tony Hawk Foundation pursue its mission to bring free, quality public skateparks to low-income areas across the country.

For D-Day’s comeback show, the weather in So. Cal was beautiful - a perfect setting for the outdoor event that was held on Sunday, October 18 at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino. It was literally the ultimate automotive festival as 13,000 people showed up to see more than 1600 custom cars, trucks, motorcycles and everything in between, more than 100 booths, and some amazing performances. Nick Cannon and Power 106’s DJ Felli Fel hosted all the day’s festivities.

L.A. was the last stop for LeBron’s "More Than A Game Tou"r on Saturday, September 19 at Hollywood and Highland. The five-time NBA All-Star participated in a Q&A session and spoke about the importance of giving back to the community through the power of sport. Local coaches from The LA84 Foundation were also honored for their extraordinary contributions in basketball as part of Nike’s Gamechangers program. LeBron was also presented with an exclusive pair of Nike Air Max LeBron VII’s, featuring a Los Angeles-inspired design created by local artist C. R. Stecyk III.

Chi-City was more than ready to experience this year’s Monster Energy 2009 DUB Show Tour, as seen through the massive array of customized rides and bikes that packed the McCormick Place Convention Center on Saturday, August 1. Practically all of Chicago was there, with more than 16,000 car culture fans showed up ready to feast their eyes on some of the city’s best in the car game.

Congrats to the DC team of athletes for their performance at last week’s X Games 15! Danny Way leads the list of successes with a Gold in the first-ever running of the Big Air Rail Jam on Friday night. Later Friday night, in BMX Big Air, Chad Kagy took Silver and Dave Mirra took Bronze in yet another event filled with new tricks and progression.

To honor the men and women serving in the U.S. Marines, DUB LIVE! and Boost Mobile attended the Annual Miramar Marine Corps Air Station BBQ on Friday, July 17, 2009 in San Diego, CA to pass out free mags, license plates, shirts, posters, keychains and Monster Energy drinks and more! Boost Mobile demoed phones, had a prize wheel and held a push-up contest. As part of the DUB LIVE! Display, guests got to check out Terrell Owens’ 2008 Bentley, and other modded rides like a 2008 BMW 650, 2008 GMC Sierra, 2008 Chrysler 300 and the Boost Mobile RV. The Jason Ellis Show broadcasted from the DUB LIVE! Display, which is one of the top-rated Sirius shows.
